2005 Fall Global Issues Lectures

The Global Issues Lecture Series is an informal lecture series held once a month, during the academic year, on the University campus with each lecture topic focusing on a different area of global concern. This fall's lecture will address UN Reform, the Millennium Development Goals and UN Peacekeeping and are free and open to the public.

Americans and the Millennium Development Goals: Challenges and Opportunities

A special showing of the film The Peacekeepers

This newly release film, gives an unprecedented look into the build up of a conflict, as it follows the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo and details the politics of putting peacekeeping troops on the ground in New York.
