When: Thursday, April 19, 2007, 6 - 8 pm

Where: Sanger Hall, Chatham College
Woodland Road, Shadyside

With over 380 ppmv of carbon dioxide molecules in the atmosphere, there is no dispute that Global Warming is occurring.  The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has concluded that not only is climate change occurring, but that it is a direct result of human behavior.

Now it is time to learn about the challenges and opportunities for local action on the issue of climate change.  Join our paneled discussion, moderated by Christopher Flavin, President of the Worldwatch Institute, in a conversation about
global warming.

Join Mr. Flavin and these guests on our panel:

Mary Whitney, Program Specialist at the Rachel Carson Institute at Chatham College

Rachel Martin, Regional Coordinator at the Sierra Club of Pittsburgh

Sharon Pillar, Global Warming Outreach Coordinator of PennFuture
