Global Citizenship in the Classroom
We are proud to report that Global Solutions Pittsburgh has been approved as a provider of continuing education for Pennsylvania’s teachers by the Commonwealth’s Department of Education. Under Act 48 of 1999, all teachers certified in PA must complete 180 hours of continuing education every five years. Teachers are always looking for opportunities to fulfill their requirements, and GSP is pleased to empower local teachers to present global affairs topics in their classrooms. Although GSP can now independently convey Act 48 credit to teachers, we still look forward to working with our community partners, such as the University of Pittsburgh, to offer future seminars.
