Global Solutions Pittsburgh publishes a quarterly newsletter. Inside each issue is event coverage, event previews, editorials on key issues, and current action alerts. The newsletters not only serve to showcase our public programming, but also offer insight and serve as a resource for more information on critical issues. Pittsburgh Human Rights Network
The Pittsburgh Human Rights Network is a project intended to create a permanent, accessible online interface for different groups and organizations in the Pittsburgh area who are working to promote international human rights. This network was developed by Global Solutions Pittsburgh in May of 2009 and is designed to enable groups and organizations in the Pittsburgh area, whether at the college or professional level, to easily communicate and coordinate with one another, so as to more effectively promote human rights. Members of the Pittsburgh Human Rights Network can view one another's contact information, events, and overall mission of individual groups. Members can also publish discussions, chat with one another, and share photos and video as well. The Pittsburgh Human Rights Network actively believes that the world can be changed for the better if people are informed, connected, and involved. Visit the Pittsburgh Human Rights Network to become a member. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the Pittsburgh Human Rights Network, contact Tim, Communications Associate.
Chapter Library
Our extensive library was begun with generous contributions from our founding members, we now maintain an extensive library. There, you will find resources on various topics from environmental protection and the principles of world federalism to nuclear disarmament and human rights protection. In addition, we have several videos that may be of interest not only to members but to local teachers. Members and friends are welcome to borrow books, journal articles, periodicals and videos.
